LISTEN CLOSELY!

We ask that you "Listen Closely" to our newest single released January 2020!

Listen Closely was a song that took the most time for all three phases of production!

Pre-Production began in 2018 and the song was not fully finished until early 2019.

We began tracking drums and bass at Riff Room Recordings in Oklahoma City with Skyler Wilkerson, who is a self taught producer/engineer and is the guitarist for Lilac Kings.

Vocals were also tracked that same day - Fun fact: Paul was sick that day, yet he still nailed all the vocals in about an hour that day before his voice finally gave up on him!

The song was mixed and mastered by Luke Chronister with Limitless Live Productions!

All for More bothered Luke 22 times!! Before deciding on a final mix.

The art cover was designed by the bassist Eduardo Martinez!

The art cover is a visual representation from one of the versus of the song

"So why do you believe that we deserve a cage?"

"Listen Closely" on Spotify, Apply Music, BandCamp and Google Play!

Lyrics:

Can you please take a deep breath

I promise you

I’m not here to steal your liberty

I just want to find my own

In this land that you call opportunity

How did I cease to be

A brother and man

How could I possibly understand

How much I cost you in taxes

What line did I cross

To stop being human in your eyes

If only you could see

Turn your head and listen Closely

Listen Closely

Listen Closely you might hear something new

And now you can see

We’re not the animals you say we are

So why do you believe that we deserve a cage

Turn your head from your humanity again

While you do so our babies are scared and alone

I’m not the one who brought this war to your shore

No Im not the one who spilled your brothers blood

How did I cease to be

A brother and man

How could I possibly understand

How much I cost you in taxes

What line did I cross

To stop being human in your eyes

If only you could see

Turn your head and listen Closely

Listen Closely

Listen Closely you might hear something new

The crying of our brother

The crying of our sister

The crying of our father

The crying of our mother
